Marugame, Kotohira, Sakaide

Sakaide, a town of ancient romance, has modern Seto Ohashi Bridge and excellent cultural heritage, and is an area associated with many historical figures. Marugame has one of the rare wooden castle towers, the "Marugame Castle," which is one of only 12 in the country. The stone wall, which is about 60m high and has a beautiful curve called "Ogi-no-Kakari," is a characteristic feature. And don't forget the Sanuki udon noodles. It's a good idea to take a udon taxi guided by a knowledgeable driver and visit famous and hidden noodle shops.
