Yu no Hira Onsen can be enjoyed in a yukata (casual summer kimono) while walking on a charming stone-paved slope between wooden inns. There are also many old-fashioned inns that preserve the atmosphere of public bathhouses and hot spring resorts. In addition, there is a "Santoka Taneda Museum" built in memory of Santoka Taneda, a famous haiku poet who loved this area, as well as souvenir shops nearby.
