On the banks of the Katsura River that flows through the center of the hot spring town is a bamboo grove.
This promenade connects from the upstream Takishita Bridge to the Katsura River flowing through the center of the hot spring town, passing by the side of the Dokko no Yu on Maple Street. It has become a place where you can take a leisurely walk while feeling the beauty of Japan's nature. After sunset, it is lit up, and you can enjoy a fantastic bamboo forest!

If using public transportation, it's an 8-minute walk from Shuzenji Station on the Izuhakone Railway Sunzu Line, or a 5-minute walk from Shuzenji Onsen bus terminal after getting off at Shuzenji Onsen from the bus. It's a spot overflowing with the beauty of Mt. Fuji that you'll want to visit not only during your Izu sightseeing, but also before and after your stay in Shuzenji Onsen.
