Ooyu Intermittent Spring, one of the seven hot springs of Atami, has a long history as a famous hot spring visited by Tokugawa Ieyasu. Its powerful eruptions, which once shook the ground, are still artificially reproduced every four minutes for three minutes, with hot water gushing out vigorously from between the rocks. This magnificent sight is a must-see! This geyser, which was once considered one of the world's three great geysers before the Great Kanto Earthquake, continues to convey its charm to this day.
