The Mori Family Building, located in the Kitamae ship chandlery district in Toyama City, is a national important cultural property built around the 11th year of the Meiji era. This architectural style, which symbolizes the Japan Sea trade at the time, became the foundation not only for logistics but also for cultural exchange. Throughout the building, there are unique wishes of merchants, such as a room with the word "enter" written on the floor to bring in money, and a dragon pattern visible on the ceiling of the innermost room. In addition, there is a model of a Kitamae ship displayed in the building along with easy-to-understand explanations.
