Yunohama Onsen has a magnificent view of the vast sandy beach and the sunset over the Sea of Japan, and some accommodations offer the opportunity to enjoy the sunset over the Sea of Japan while bathing. In addition, Yunohama Onsen is known as one of the resort areas in the prefecture and is a hot spring resort where you can also enjoy marine sports!

Access

Access in 15 Minutes by Car from Tsuruoka IC!
The main ways to access Yunohama Onsen are by public transportation or car. From JR Tsuruoka Station, take the Shonai Kotsu bus bound for Yunohama Onsen and get off at the last stop, which takes about 40 minutes. If you are using a private car, take National Route 7 and 112 via Tsuruoka IC on the Yamagata Expressway and drive for about 20km, which takes about 15 minutes.
