Highlights

Point 1

Enjoy Abundant Play Equipment with Just the Entrance Fee!

Funabashi Andersen Park Enjoy Abundant Play Equipment with Just the Entrance Fee!
Funabashi Andersen Park is a municipal park with abundant athletic equipment and large play equipment where seasonal flowers bloom. The park is divided into themed zones such as "Mischievous Kingdom Zone," "Fairy Tale Hill Zone," "Children's Art Museum Zone," "Nature Experience Zone," and "Flower Castle Zone," and attracts not only families but also many young couples and seniors. The Mischievous Kingdom Zone, which is the main area, has a field athletic area, large play equipment, and a petting zoo, where many children are having fun. On holidays, there is a long line waiting for the 13-meter-tall Mischievous Castle's large slide, and children who enjoy the exhilaration of sliding down dynamically create a lively atmosphere. In the large ball net play equipment "Mischievous Ball Island," which covers various colorful balls with a net, children are bouncing happily on top of the balls. It's no wonder that the park is so popular among families, as many facilities can be played for free (or at a low cost) with just the entrance fee.
Point 2

Exciting Water Play for Children in the Summer

Funabashi Andersen Park Exciting Water Play for Children in the Summer
The Rainbow Pond in the Mischievous Kingdom zone is a popular spot for children to enjoy water play during the summer, with a beautiful rainbow appearing on sunny days. The pond is only about as deep as an adult's knee, so even small children can enjoy it safely with proper supervision. Next to the Rainbow Pond is Archimedes' Fountain, which features a water wheel that can be turned by foot and a lever-operated pump. Children can be seen playing and getting soaked while having fun. Lifeguards are stationed and water quality is monitored during the Golden Week holiday in May and from July to September.
Point 3

Enjoyable All Year Round! Seasonal Flowers

Funabashi Andersen Park Enjoyable All Year Round! Seasonal Flowers
At Funabashi Andersen Park, you can enjoy many flowers and trees throughout the year. There are countless flowers in full bloom here, including winter plum and camellia, spring cherry blossoms and apricots, summer artichokes and begonias, and autumn osmanthus and pomegranates. You can take a leisurely stroll or sit down and sketch, enjoying the seasonal flowers in your own way. On the north side of the park, there is a nature experience zone where you can observe the natural state of wild plants and insects.
Point 4

Enjoy Creative Experiences in the Art Museum Zone, Even on Rainy Days!

The children's art museum area offers a variety of programs that can be enjoyed even on rainy days. The programs change monthly, so you can always look forward to something new and exciting. The exhibition room also regularly holds exhibitions planned by artists. Don't be disappointed by the rain - enjoy yourself to the fullest in the art museum area! *Additional material costs are required for creative programs. Please check the official website for the latest information on program content.

Parking

Choose a Parking Lot According to Your Destination
There are several paid parking lots within the park. These include the South Parking Lot, which is close to the Fairy Tale Hill Zone, the North Parking Lot, which is close to the Mischievous Kingdom Zone, and the West and East Parking Lots, which are available for temporary use during crowded times. As parking lots may become crowded during holidays and peak hours when many people visit, consider using public transportation. It takes about 15 minutes by Shinko-Shin Bus from Misaki Station on the Shin-Keisei Line, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, buses also run from JR Funabashi Station, but it takes about 40 minutes.

Fee

Recommended to Buy Advance Tickets for 10% Discount on Admission
The entrance fee for Funabashi Andersen Park is 900 yen for adults, 600 yen for high school students, 200 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and 100 yen for children over 4 years old. There is also a happy event where admission for junior high school students and younger is free during the Hinamatsuri and Children's Day. If you can plan ahead, it's recommended to buy advance tickets for a 10% discount. Additionally, if you plan to use the park several times a year, the annual passport with "Children's Art Museum Atelier Material Coupon" is a great deal. Advance tickets can be purchased at convenience stores. Please note that there is an additional fee for using the paid facilities inside the park.
