In fact, Shunkado's charm extends beyond eel pies, boasting a wide lineup that includes seasonal Western-style confectionery made with fresh fruit and high-quality Japanese confectionery used in tea ceremonies. If you're just looking to quickly browse through souvenir shops and such, you can enjoy nicoe with just 30 minutes. However, there are many events held throughout the year, and if you participate in those events or attend workshops where you can learn about the research results of Shunkado's chocolates, 30 minutes won't be enough. It's recommended to secure at least an hour and a half.

Use a Bus or Your Own Car
We recommend using a bus or your own car to access Nicoe. From Hamakita Station on the Enshu Railway, it's recommended to take the Hamakita Community Bus and get off at the "Nicoe" bus stop. From Hamamatsu Station, taking the Entetsu Bus and getting off at the "Nicoe/Harukadou Hamakita Factory" bus stop is recommended. However, as they don't operate every day, it's essential to check the timetable in advance. If you want to take your time sightseeing without worrying about bus departure times, let's go to Nicoe by your own car!
Parking
Free Parking Available!
Nicoe has a fully equipped free parking lot with space for 110 cars, so unless it's a busy season, you should be able to find a spot to park. During busy periods such as Golden Week and summer vacation, the parking lot may fill up, so be sure to follow the instructions of the staff and avoid parking in nearby lots without permission. On weekends and holidays, there are also buses from Hamamatsu Station operated by Entetsu Bus, so it may be worth considering using those as well.
