Highlights

Point 1

Feel Nostalgic in a Wooden School Building

Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village Feel Nostalgic in a Wooden School Building
One of the most popular spots in the 24 Eyes Movie Village is the "Nawate Elementary School Taura Branch," a wooden school building located along the coast. From the classroom, you can enjoy the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, and inside the classroom, various props and photos from the 1987 film shoot are on display. Since the school building has been preserved as it was after it was closed down, you can feel the nostalgia of the old desks, organs, and children's works.
Point 2

Aim for Instagram-Worthy Photos with Wall Art

The wall art "Dance Party of Love" is a reproduction of a dance party seen by artist Miki Okamura in Germany. Customers can blend into the wall and take photos as if they were in a movie scene. Take Instagram-worthy photos in your favorite scene, such as "receiving a bouquet while proposing" or "the moment of catching the depicted roses". Let's take some photos that will make a splash on social media!
Point 3

View the Artworks of the Setouchi Triennale

As permanent works of the Setouchi Triennale, "Fisherman's Dream" and "Bollard of Love" are on display. "Fisherman's Dream" is an innovative work that recreates a three-dimensional piece by erasing printed material with an eraser, while "Bollard of Love" is located in a corner of the parking lot and stimulates the imagination of viewers towards "something" coming from the sea. Both works can be interpreted in various ways, so it might be interesting to talk with the people you go with!
Point 4

Try Your Luck with the "Fish Fortune-telling"

At the Book Cafe Shoshi Umikaze-do on the second floor of the retro building Gallery Shochikuza, located next to the Nijushi no Hitomi Tenmangu Shrine, you can try your luck with the "Fish Fortune-telling". There are seven types of fish made of paper clay, including octopus, shark, turtle, sea cucumber, pufferfish, crab, and moray eel. Try catching your favorite fish! It's a cute and fun way to test your luck and leave feeling satisfied.
Point 5

A Gallery That Figure Enthusiasts Can't Resist

At "Figure Gallery Kaiyodo," you can see figures from Kaiyodo, the world's largest and most popular figure company. The figures, such as the Choujuu Giga and Ashura statues, are displayed in the fields of art, movies, nature, and heroes. Admission is free, and you can also catch a glimpse of the atmosphere of the craftsmen's creations, making it a place that figure enthusiasts can't resist!
Point 6

Experience Old-fashioned Playtime

At the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village, you can experience various old-fashioned playtime activities that you don't normally see! On the school playground, you can ride nostalgic stilts, play with bamboo cups, and do bike wheelies for free. For an additional 500 yen, you can also wear a kasuri kimono and take a walk through the streets of the early Showa era, which is sure to make for a great photo opportunity!
Point 7
