Goshikidai, located on top of a 307m mountain in Sakaide City, Kagawa Prefecture, is a spectacular viewpoint where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea and Seto Ohashi Bridge. It's one of the most famous tourist spots in Shikoku. You can reach the observation deck by car, but since parking is limited, it's recommended to use public transportation during peak times. Admission to the observation deck is free, and there are promenades and hiking trails around the area where you can enjoy nature. It's also famous for its cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage. The night view is also magnificent, so it's recommended to visit at night as well. There are shops and restaurants around the observation deck where you can enjoy dishes made with local ingredients. There are also many other tourist spots around Goshikidai, such as Konpira-cho and Marugame City. Why not visit on a sunny day?
