The Higobashi Residence Memorial Museum in Niimi City is a Western-style building that was constructed as a villa for the Sumitomo family. After more than 110 years, it was moved to Hoshikoshiyama and opened to the public. From the observation deck, you can enjoy views of the islands of Shikoku and the Seto Inland Sea, as well as Niimi's industrial complexes. You can also feel the efforts made to overcome air pollution that occurred in this area. The beautiful garden is also a must-see attraction!
