This is Japan's largest underwater limestone cave, formed 300 million years ago and taking its current shape after being submerged by the massive eruption of Mount Aso 300,000 years ago. You can explore most of the mystical and fantastic world inside the cave on foot. If you make a reservation, you can also experience diving.

In spring, you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing, and from May to June, firefly watching is also possible. In summer, it is recommended to play in the river and camp at the source of the Hakusan River, which was selected as one of the 100 best waters in Japan.
