The Higashisonogi Town Historical Folk Museum displays valuable materials related to the history of the area and local performing arts from the Paleolithic period over 10,000 years ago to the Edo period. It also showcases items used in households during the Meiji period to the early Showa period, allowing visitors to learn about the local culture and history. Visitors can also experience the Higasogotuka Kofun, a prefecturally designated historic site, and a Meiji-era house. The museum is open from 9:00 to 17:00 (closed on Tuesdays and during the year-end and New Year holidays).
