Every year in October, the "Narai-juku Festival" is held in Narai-juku. During the festival, people dressed in Edo-period costumes parade through the town, which is decorated with lanterns. Additionally, every year in February, the "Narai-juku Snow Festival" is held, where snow sculptures are made and lit up at night. With different events to enjoy each season, there's always something new to discover every time you visit.

Narai-juku is a historic streetscape that can be reached in about 3 hours from the center of Tokyo. Take the Azusa limited express from JR Shinjuku Station, get off at Shiojiri Station, transfer to the JR Chuo Main Line, and head to the nearest Narai Station. It's about a 3-minute walk from Narai Station to Narai-juku. If you visit by car, the town is designated as an Important Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and only local residents are allowed to drive in, so park your car in nearby free or paid parking lots.
