Built in 1958 as a comprehensive radio and television broadcasting tower, Tokyo Tower has been watching over the city of Tokyo for over half a century. The space is characterized by a geometrically mirrored floor called the "Geometric Mirror," which makes you feel like you've wandered into a strange world upon entering. The mirrors, which reflect light from outside and indoor lighting at various angles, create a beautiful space that shows various expressions. There is also an audio guide, allowing you to enjoy the view of Tokyo while listening to the guide.

Enjoy the Illumination of Tokyo Tower from Outside

The illumination of Tokyo Tower is very beautiful, with 180 lights becoming a symbol of Tokyo's cityscape. This illumination actually comes in two types depending on the season. In the summer, it features cool colors to combat the heat, while in the winter, it features warm colors to warm people's hearts. Additionally, starting from the first year of Reiwa, a colorful illumination called "Infinity Diamond Veil" has begun every Monday. It's also nice to feel the seasons through the illumination of Tokyo Tower.

Climb Tokyo Tower by Stairs!

At Tokyo Tower, an event is held every day where you can climb up to 150m using 600 stairs. Although it may seem like an incredibly long and daunting staircase, it's actually possible to climb it in 12-13 minutes, so anyone can easily take on the challenge. However, it's important to note that there are no options to switch to an elevator midway, so please consider your physical condition before attempting the climb. Those who successfully climb all 600 stairs will receive a non-saleable "Stair Climbing Certification" as a gift, so why not give it a try?

After looking down on the city of Tokyo from Tokyo Tower, why not enjoy yourself at the foot of the tower? From the basement to the 5th floor of Tokyo Tower, there is a Foot Town where you can enjoy shopping, play, gourmet food, and more. On the 5th and 4th floors, there are facilities where you can experience esports, and from the 3rd floor and up, there are souvenir shops, cafes, crepe shops, ramen shops, and more lined up. Tokyo Tower with Many Nearby Stations

Located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Tokyo Tower has several nearby stations, making it an easily accessible tourist spot. The first is the Toei Subway Mita Line Onarimon Station, where you can see Tokyo Tower right in front of you when exiting from the Akabane Gate. It takes about a 5-minute walk from the station to reach the base of Tokyo Tower. The second is the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Kamiyacho Station, which takes about a 6-minute walk to arrive. The third is the Toei Subway Asakusa Line Daimon Station, which takes about a 10-minute walk. Although there is a slight uphill slope to Tokyo Tower, the road is relatively easy to walk on.
