Tsuji-ga-oka Prefectural Park is a comprehensive park known for its azaleas. In this park, there is a grove of ancient azalea trees. The grove boasts various types of azaleas, including the "Kotsunai-jijii's beloved azalea," estimated to be 800 years old. The park has a long history, with azaleas blooming for over 500 years, and a reopening ceremony was held in Meiji 13 (1880). It has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Historical Parks, and one of its attractions is the grove of ancient trees that allows visitors to feel the park's history.
