Kozoji Temple, Takakura Kannon

The main hall of Kozoji Temple is a unique building with a rare raised-floor, multi-layered gable roof construction, with a floor height of 7.7 shaku and 88 columns with 16 corners. Additionally, the secret statue of Takakura Kannon is enshrined in the main hall, and can be viewed from under the floor. It's a must-see for architecture enthusiasts.

At Kozoji Temple, we offer prayer and memorial services for any request, such as for 7-5-3 ceremonies, warding off evil, safe childbirth, traffic safety, memorial services for miscarried or stillborn children, and pet memorial services.
