Enjoy a Fun Social Studies Field Trip for Kids and Adults!
Located in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, this museum allows visitors to observe the manufacturing process of Glico ice cream. How are popular treats like "Papico" and "Seventeen Ice" made? What are those machines for? People of all ages can enjoy learning about the process of making ice cream. There are also plenty of unique features, such as going into a "giant freezer" and being able to sample the ice cream. While the optional ice cream making experience incurs a fee, admission to the museum and factory tour are completely free! However, reservations for the factory tour are required in advance, and due to its popularity, it's easy for reservations to fill up during long holidays and weekends. Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance, so it's best to act quickly!
