Point 1

Hot Springs Facility with High Concentration Carbonated Springs

Yokatan in Yoshikawa Onsen is a hot springs facility boasting carbonated springs that gush up from 1,500 meters underground. It is said to have a high warming effect on the body, as 2,310 milligrams of carbon dioxide gas is dissolved per liter. When you soak in the colorless and transparent water containing fine bubbles, you can feel the refreshing sensation hitting your skin and the effect it has on your body. It also contains a lot of salt, making it highly effective for bathing, warming up every corner of your body and filling you with energy. The baths with unique features, such as the "Sachino-yu" and the garden-style open-air bath, are also popular.
Point 2

Refresh Your Mind and Body with the Beautiful Bamboo Walls of Kounoyu

The charm of Yoshikawa Onsen Yokatan lies in Kounoyu's beautiful bamboo walls, which allow you to refresh your mind and body. After renovation work, Kounoyu now has artificial bamboo walls instead of the old ones, making it more visually appealing and comfortable to use. There are two types of baths: Fukunoyu, made of wood, and Kounoyu, made of rock, with a weekly rotation for men and women. The carbonated spring water, which is also a natural hot spring, is one of the best in Japan. We also recommend trying the sake made in Yamadanishiki Village. This is a place where we hope you can refresh your mind and body, especially during these times of corona fatigue.
Point 3

Enjoy an Open-Air Hot Spring Bath with Women's Sake Bath and Men's Unique Bath

The charm of Yoshikawa Onsen Yokatan lies in its open-air hot spring bath where you can enjoy women's sake bath and men's unique bath. You can relax in a spacious area while healing your body with hot water using carbonated springs. In addition, the women-only "beauty bath" boasts skin-friendly hot water. Furthermore, there is a private open-air bath called "Happy Time," where couples and families can spend a relaxing time together. Please come and visit at least once!
Point 4

Enjoy Local Vegetables and Sake Made with Yamadanishiki Rice at "Yamadanishiki no Yakata"

Yokatan, located in Miki City, is a unique tourist spot with a feature that includes "Yamadanishiki no Yakata," where you can buy Japanese sake made with Yamadanishiki rice and fresh local vegetables. Here, you can enjoy the nationally renowned Junmai sake "Yamadanishiki," which is produced in the area, as well as freshly harvested agricultural products and dining options. You can also learn about the history and manufacturing process of Yamadanishiki at the museum. Why not spend a luxurious time enjoying hot springs, delicious Japanese sake, and local ingredients together?
Point 5

Tourist Spot with Abundant Yamadanishiki Rice and Fruits Grown in a Rich Natural Area

Yokatan in Yoshikawa Onsen, Miki City, is a tourist spot with abundant Yamadanishiki rice and fruits grown in a rich natural area. You can refresh your mind and body in the creatively designed bathhouse or in the outdoor bath "Sachinoyu," which features a high concentration of carbonated water. In addition, at the adjacent Yamadanishiki no Yakata, you can purchase fresh vegetables and local specialty products. Why not enjoy the unique flavors of this region while spending a relaxing time?
