Arima Onsen can be accessed by bus from Kyoto and by train from Osaka and Kobe. If you are coming from Kyoto, take the "Arima Express Kyoto Line" high-speed bus from "JR Kyoto Station Karasuma Exit" and head towards "Arima Onsen." Access is also possible by Hankyu Bus and Keihan Bus. Take the bus from "Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit" and head towards "Arima Onsen." If you are coming from Osaka or Kobe, take the train and head towards "Tanigami" station on the Kobe Municipal Subway. Then, from "Arima-guchi" station on the Kobe Electric Railway, get off at "Arima Onsen" station.
