Yumura Onsen is a hot spring that was developed in the first year of Kasho (848), and its spring volume and quality have not declined to this day, attracting hot spring enthusiasts. History

Healing Springs Nurtured by a Rich Historical Background
Yumura Onsen is one of Japan's top high-temperature hot springs, located on the banks of the Haruki River, a tributary of the Kishida River. Its history dates back to the year 848, the first year of the Kajō era, when it was discovered by the Buddhist monk Jikaku Daishi. Yumura Onsen is known as an ancient hot spring, and its original source, known as "Ara-yu," gushes out 470 liters of high-temperature water per minute. Visitors to the "Ara-yu" can witness the unique sight of tourists boiling hot spring eggs, which has become a signature feature of Yumura Onsen. This historic hot spring resort has preserved the atmosphere of a bygone era and has provided healing to many people for centuries. When visiting the hot spring resort, you can experience the unique scenery and traditions of Yumura Onsen's hot spring therapy.

Access

Access Information to Yumura Onsen
You can access Yumura Onsen by train or car. If you take the train, you can ride the Shinonsen-cho community bus from JR Hamasaka Station or Yoka Station and get off at the Yakushi-yu bus stop. However, the number of trains and buses is limited, so please check the timetable in advance. It's also possible to use a highway bus from Osaka or Hyogo, which takes about 3 hours to arrive at Yumura Onsen. If you use a car, you can take the Hokuriku-Tottori Expressway from the Yoka Hyonosen IC and proceed on Route 9. Follow the road signs and you will arrive at Yumura Onsen. Make good use of the access methods to this nature-rich hot spring area and enjoy the pleasant hot springs and beautiful natural environment of Yumura Onsen.

温泉、食事、サービス共にとても良かったです。 コスパはとても良いと思いました。また利用したいです。 ■食事 特に夕食の「とみや尽くし」会席が、味・種類・量全てが凄い! 蟹は本ズワイガニ1匹丸ごとで、身もしっかり詰まっており美味しかったです。 しゃぶしゃぶは島根和牛、舟盛刺身は7種でこれもまた美味しい! かなりのボリュームでお腹いっぱいになりました。 ■温泉 少し熱めの温泉で、体の芯から温まり入浴後も体ポカポカ、お肌スベスベでで気持ちの良い温泉でした。 湯村温泉の中でも高台にあるため、露天風呂からの眺めもとても良かったです。 更衣室には、無料の冷水サービスがあります。 ■設備 全体的に年季を感じましたがお手入れ清掃が行き届いており、不快感はありませんでした。 快適に過ごせました。 ■サービス スタッフの皆さん、親切丁寧でとても気持ちよく過ごすことができました。

朝ホットコーヒーのセルフサービスがあり、美味しかった。露天風呂出たとこに冷水機を置いてくれていて助かる。2連泊したが快適だった。また泊まりたい。お宿から歩いて荒湯に行けるから良い。

いつか行きたかった湯村温泉で初めて訪れました 温泉は内湯も露天も広くてのんびり浸かれますし、泉質もとても良かったです! 普通のコースで予約してたのですが、想像以上に料理が豪華で量も満足!一緒に行った仲間たちも「すご~い」って喜んでいて、1人は食べ切れずに残してしまうほど! コスパ最高でまたいつか行きたいと思います。
