出石城跡です。 午後にゆっくりとお城跡を散策しました。 昔ながらの良い雰囲気の場所で、お蕎麦屋さん以外にもお土産屋さんも有り楽しく過ごせました。 皆さん、出石名物皿そばを楽しみに来られているようです。ほとんどのお店がお昼をメインにしているようなので、夕方には閉店のお店が多くありました。ご注意ください。

☆続日本100名城☆ 25.4.7 兵庫県豊岡市出石町、旧出石町の中心部にある。最寄りの観光駐車場は広く、500円で近隣を散歩できるのでお得。 登城橋を渡り、登城門をくぐるとさっそく素晴らしい石垣が迎えてくれる。西櫓を見上げながら二の丸広場へくると桜が咲いて素晴らしい景色。 そのまま本丸へと進み、感応殿で藩祖仙石秀久公に参拝。仙石秀久公は漫画「センゴク」に詳しい。本丸から眺める出石の街並みもいい感じ。 本丸からさらに登る稲荷郭は高石垣が積まれており、これまた素晴らしい。お稲荷さんに参拝し、有子山城の登り口だけ見て下山。いつか山城にも登ってみたい。 下山後は駐車場隣にある観光センターにてスタンプ&御城印をゲット。敷地内には公衆トイレもあって便利。すぐ隣には辰鼓楼や家老屋敷もあって見所多い。一泊二日くらいでゆっくり来ても楽しめそうな素晴らしい城だった。

出石そばを何度か食べに来たことはあったのですが、今回初めて出石城の存在に気付き、ふと立ち寄ってみたところ、想像以上に風情があって素敵な場所でした。そばだけじゃない出石の魅力を再発見できました。
