一泊二日のプランで利用。 歴史を感じる建物に、静かにゆったり過ごせる空間。 「温泉」と「食事」のそれぞれに特徴があり、他の旅館に無い良さがある。 姫路や神戸からのアクセスが良く、一泊二日の気軽な旅行にピッタリ。 個人的に気に入ったのは「温泉」 内風呂と露天風呂の2種類の浴場があり、それぞれに違った趣が。 自然湧出という珍しい温泉。 泉質は「ナトリウム炭酸水素塩泉 塩化物泉」でもちろんかけ流し。 源泉が17度と冷たく、温めた温泉と交互に入浴するとより長い時間温泉を楽しめる。 さらに「飲泉」ができるというから驚き。 胃腸や痛風に対しての効果があるらしく、温泉好きとしては嬉しい限り。 また、「食事」にも楽しみがあり、戦国時代の宴会で食された「狸食(タヌクイ)」なる変わった料理があり、趣を感じる。 飽食の時代である現代から考えると子供だましのようなメニューだが、過去に思いを馳せると違った味わいが感じられる。 また機会があれば利用したい。

多分大手の温泉宿では不可能な事が可能になる秘湯 露天風呂に虫や葉っぱが落ちてるとか掘っ建て小屋風のだとか部屋の湿度が高いとかそんな細かい事がどうでも良くなる温泉宿 秘密の小部屋にある(笑)源泉を飲んで衝撃を受けた 朝食で源泉だけで作ったお粥とかもう感動 映えるだけのオシャレな温泉宿では決して無いが料理もとても美味しく温かく食べる為の様々な工夫もあり絶対に無くしてはいけない温泉が塩田温泉上山旅館だと思う また行きたい

椿館和室に宿泊しました。古くからの歴史ある温泉旅館で部屋風呂も広く快適。椿館は部屋食なのでゆっくり食事しながら温泉を楽しめました。是非再訪したい旅館でした。
