Ama no Hashidate Coast, beloved by the poets of Manyo era.
The Ameharashi Coast is a scenic spot where the Tateyama mountain range can be seen across Toyama Bay. The poet Otomo no Yakamochi of the Manyo period loved this scenery and composed many poems here. It is a spot with Manyo associations, where the blue sea, white sandy beaches, 3000-meter-class mountains, and nature come together.
