History

Hosui Winery Pioneer of Grape Cultivation in Hokkaido!
HOUSUI WINERY
Pioneer of Grape Cultivation in Hokkaido!
Founder Takemi Kurauichi focused on cultivating grapes suitable for Hokkaido's climate and aimed to produce wine in Hokkaido. Mr. Yasuda was also one of the pioneers who conducted full-scale grape cultivation in Hokkaido. Initially, wine production centered on the company's own grape cultivation, but now they also produce wine using grapes from other regions. They have contributed to the development of Hokkaido's wine industry. The wines of Toyosui Winery have received high praise both domestically and internationally, and as one of Hokkaido's representative wineries, they are loved by many people.

Take the Asahikawa, Rumoi, or Furano bus from Sapporo Station's bus terminal and get off at the Kousoku Higashiyama stop. From there, it's a 30-minute walk to the winery.
