Bitchu Kokubunji Temple in Soja City, Okayama Prefecture, is known for its five-story pagoda that strongly reflects the style of the late Edo period. This pagoda is the only one of its kind in the prefecture and its height of 34.32 meters is truly impressive. In spring, the entire temple grounds are adorned with rapeseed flowers, creating a perfect contrast with the golden scenery and the pagoda. At night, the illuminated pagoda emits a fantastic beauty. It's also a popular spot for activities such as photography, jogging, and cycling.
