Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) in Ise City is a beautiful sight where two rocks, one large and one small, stand side by side like a happily married couple. Many visitors come to see it. It has been known as an object of worship for Iwakura faith since ancient times and was also a scenic spot painted by Hiroshige Utagawa in the Edo period. In addition, purification at the Futami Okitama Shrine is also recommended. It's a place that every Japanese person should visit at least once.
