Iga Ueno Castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi's retainer, Tsutsui Sadatsugu, in the 13th year of the Tensho era and was later renovated by Tokugawa Ieyasu's retainer, Todo Takatora. It was a lifeline for Tokugawa Ieyasu and was built in preparation for the Osaka Campaign. It is now designated as an important cultural property of the country and is said to have three towers. Inside the castle, you can see samurai residences, armories, stone walls, and other historical buildings.
