Iwamura Castle is the ruins of a castle defended by "Lady Otsuya," the aunt of Oda Nobunaga. Located at an altitude of 717m, it offers breathtaking views of Ena Mountain. This spot, counted among Japan's three great mountain castles, not only has historical value but also allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of nature. The main gate, drum tower, and tea room have been restored, and the main gate of the clan school Chishin-kan has been relocated here. Additionally, the Iwamura Historical Museum displays folk crafts. It's a precious place that not only captivates visitors with its stunning views but also allows them to feel the lives of our ancestors.
