Convenient Access to Nakasendo Ota-juku
Access to Nakasendo Ota-juku is convenient by both public transportation and car. If you're using public transportation, you can arrive by walking 20 minutes from the south exit of Mino-Ota Station. If you're driving, you can reach Nakasendo Ota-juku by taking National Route 41 south for about 5 minutes from the Tokai Loop Expressway Mino-Kamo Interchange. History

Located in the Mino Province, it prospered as the 51st post town of the Nakasendo. Ota-juku was once a vital transportation hub on the Nakasendo, especially due to the difficult crossing of the Kiso River known as "Ota no Watashi," which became a place of interaction for passing travelers.
