Access

Take the Aomori Onsen-bound Bus from JR Morioka Station!
There are two ways to access Aomori Onsen: public transportation and by car. If using public transportation, first take the Iwate Kenpoku Bus bound for Aomori Onsen from JR Morioka Station. The ride takes about an hour, and you'll get off at the last stop and arrive at the hot spring area in a 2-minute walk. Accessing Aomori Onsen via public transportation is relatively easy. The other option is to use a car. From the Morioka IC on the Tohoku Expressway, take National Route 46 and then turn onto Prefectural Route 212. After driving about 40km, you'll arrive at Aomori Onsen. If using a car, you can reach the hot spring area relatively smoothly by following the road signs.
