Located south of Lake Inawashiro, this plateau has an elevation of about 1,000m. In the shadow of 33 giant wind turbines, sunflowers bloom in the summer and cosmos flowers in the autumn. It offers the best location to view Mt. Bandai and Lake Inawashiro, and is a popular walking course.

Peace of Mind When Driving to Fubuki Plateau
Fubuki Plateau is located in Konan-cho, Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, about halfway between Koriyama City and Aizu-Wakamatsu City. It takes less than an hour by car from the Koriyama Minami IC. Please note that the road is closed during the winter season. The parking lot can accommodate about 100 cars. Please note that there are no bus routes, so please use a private car when heading to Fubuki Plateau. The private car passageway is one-way, so be sure not to make a mistake.
