The memorial hall of Yuji Koseki, who composed the famous song "Eikou wa Kimi ni Kagayaku" (The Glory Shines on You), which is also well-known at the Koshien baseball tournament. The Yuji Koseki Memorial Hall is a museum that honors the achievements of the super-famous composer, Yuji Koseki, who was born in Fukushima City. It opened in 1988 to continue the legacy of "Koseki melodies." The tower, reminiscent of the children's song "Pointed Hat," is also popular for its distinctive appearance. There are about 600 exhibition materials inside the museum, providing plenty to see. Feel the melodies of Yuji Koseki, who sent numerous masterpieces into the world, on your skin.

Parking

Free Parking When Visiting the Yuji Koseki Memorial Museum
There is a "North Parking Lot" located across from the Yuji Koseki Memorial Museum. While this parking lot became paid from April 2022, those who visit the museum can still use it for free by presenting their parking ticket. The parking lot is available from 7:30 to 22:30, providing ample time for visitors to enjoy their visit without worrying about their car. If you're driving, rest assured that there's plenty of time to park and explore the museum.

Fee

Admission Fee Required After Renovation
The Yukawa Hideki Memorial Hall reopened in March 2021 after renovation. Previously, admission to the hall was free, but it is now a paid attraction. The admission fee has been changed to 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for elementary and junior high school students. Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. Despite the introduction of an admission fee, the hall has undergone significant upgrades such as an increase in the number of exhibits, the addition of new areas, and audio guides. There are plenty of materials that you would want to see even if you have to pay for admission!
