The Innaigobyo (the Matsudaira family tomb of the Aizu domain lord) in Aizuwakamatsu City is a precious tourist spot boasting a majestic landscape where successive lords of the domain and their families are buried. The Shinto-style tombs have a monument with a turtle-shaped stone pedestal in the foreground, and many wild animals inhabit the surrounding area. By strolling around while enjoying the air integrated with nature, you can feel the historical and cultural atmosphere of Aizu.
