Renting a Car or Using Your Own Car is Recommended
Chokodai Observatory is located in Kotomari, Nakadomari-cho, Kitatsugaru-gun, Aomori Prefecture. The observatory is situated at the highest point of the Ryuho Line along National Route 339. Access to the observatory is about a 30-minute drive from Tatsunokuchi. It is located on the drive road of the Ryuho Line and can be visited by car. As the nearby Tsugaru Expressway passes through, it is recommended to rent a car or use your own car when visiting. The drive to the observatory is a great opportunity to enjoy the natural environment of Kitatsugaru-gun, Aomori Prefecture while enjoying beautiful scenery.
