The Greatest Victory Temple is a temple of the Shingon sect Chisan school, with the mountain name Kongosan and the temple name Komyoji. The biggest feature of the Greatest Victory Temple is the five-story pagoda, which has been designated as an important cultural property and is located in the northernmost part of Japan. In addition, the temple has placed the Kongorikishi statue (Niou statue) that has been repaired in its original location, the Niomon gate, and its beautiful appearance is once again being appreciated.
