This is a secluded hot spring deep in the mountains along a stream. The only lodging in the Aonikouen Valley is the Lamp no Yado Aonikouen Onsen, so you can only enjoy the hot springs here. Since there is almost no electricity, the only light source is lamps, and you can enjoy the hot springs in the midst of about 200 lamps, creating the perfect atmosphere!

Reservation is a Must for Shuttle Bus Service
To access Aonori Onsen in Kuroishi City, Aomori Prefecture, take the Konkansen bus from Kuroishi Station on the Konan Railway's Owa Line (via Itadome) if using public transportation. Get off at the Nijinoko Park bus stop after about 35 minutes. Then, take a shuttle bus for about 15 minutes to reach Aonori Onsen. Please note that a reservation is required for the shuttle bus service, so be careful. If using a private car, take National Route 102 via Kuroishi IC on the Tohoku Expressway. You will arrive at Aonori Onsen after driving about 25 km. Please follow the road signs. Please note that a reservation is required for the shuttle bus service if using public transportation.
