Access

Take the Konuma-Iwaki Line Bus from JR Hirosaki Station!
To access Mt. Iwaki Shrine using public transportation, take the Konuma-Iwaki Line Bus bound for Karikidaira from JR Hirosaki Station. Get off at the Mt. Iwaki Shrine bus stop, which is just a short walk away. There are several buses per day, so it's convenient to check the timetable in advance. If you're using a car, take the Tohoku Expressway and exit at Owani-Hirosaki IC. From there, take National Route 7, then Prefectural Route 260 and Route 3. It takes about 40 minutes to reach Mt. Iwaki Shrine. Follow the road signs as you go. You can access Mt. Iwaki Shrine relatively easily by either taking the Konuma-Iwaki Line Bus from JR Hirosaki Station or driving on National Route 7 via Owani-Hirosaki IC on the Tohoku Expressway.
