Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum Experience Art at the Heart of Tokyo
The Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum showcases modern Western art from the late 19th to early 20th century. You can see famous works of Western modern art such as those by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Odilon Redon, and Felix Vallotton. Exhibitions change three times a year. The museum also has a historical materials room where you can experience the history of Marunouchi, as well as a museum cafe. The museum building itself is also very valuable, as it is a restored version of the "Mitsubishi Ichigokan" designed by Josiah Conder, made of red brick.

Access

Just a 5-Minute Walk from Tokyo Station!
The Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum is located in the heart of Tokyo, just a 5-minute walk from the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station. If you're coming from outside Tokyo, take the Shinkansen or train to Tokyo Station. If you're arriving by plane, you can take the train from Haneda or Narita Airport. On sunny days, you can take a stroll from the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station and enjoy the townscapes of Marunouchi on your way to the museum. You can also access the museum through the underground shopping areas from Yurakucho Station, Otemachi Station, and other nearby subway stations.

Admission Fees Vary Depending on the Exhibition
The Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum holds approximately three planned exhibitions per year. The museum's admission fee varies depending on the exhibition being held at the time. General admission is set at around 1500-2500 yen. There are also Magic Hour tickets available during the evening to night hours of the exhibition, which can be purchased at a cheaper price than general tickets, so please check the official website. Tickets can be reserved online in advance or purchased at the window on the day of the exhibition. It is recommended to purchase tickets online in advance for popular exhibitions.
