The Hikawa Shrine in Omiya was originally located as the Ichinomiya of Musashi Province and has been enshrined since ancient times. It was moved to its current location later on. Accessible by Foot from Omiya Station!
Access to Hikawa Shrine in Omiya is possible by public transportation or car. If using public transportation, it's about a 15-minute walk from Omiya Station on the JR lines. In addition, a city loop bus runs from the west exit of Omiya Station, allowing you to get off at the front of Hikawa Shrine. If coming by car, there is a parking lot, but the surrounding roads can get congested, so it's recommended to go with plenty of time. Also, guide boards are installed around Hikawa Shrine, so you can go without getting lost.
