The Omori Nori no Furusato Kan in Ota Ward is a museum specializing in nori (dried seaweed). With approximately 150 exhibits, including nationally designated important tangible folk cultural properties, the museum offers a wealth of interesting content, such as the history of Omori, which was Japan's leading nori production area from the Edo period to the early Showa period, and traditional sheet nori making. Visitors can also participate in a "nori dipping" experience class. Adjacent to Heiwa no Mori Park, which is rich in nature, the museum offers an educational and relaxing experience.
