In the square, the "Classroom on the Train," which actually appeared in the story and where Tetsuko Kuroyanagi spent her elementary school days, is also reproduced. It's a space where visitors can enjoy themselves in their own way, whether by peeking into the unique classroom scenery or reminiscing about their own school life.

About a 30-Minute Drive from Azumino IC
The Azumino Chihiro Art Museum is located in the Azumino district, which overlooks the Northern Alps. The best way to access it is by car using the highway, and during the approximately 30-minute drive from Azumino IC, you can enjoy the distant mountains and pastoral scenery while driving. If you use public transportation, you can visit the museum by taking a taxi for about 5 minutes, renting a bicycle for about 15 minutes, or walking for about 30 minutes from the nearest station, Shinano-Matsukawa Station on the JR Oito Line, which is about 2.5km away.

Free Parking Lot on the Premises
The free parking lot adjacent to the facility can accommodate up to 150 private cars. For those who want to travel by car, such as families with children or visitors from afar, it's a great point that they can enjoy watching or playing without worrying about time. Although it is a spacious parking lot, it can get crowded during long holidays such as Golden Week and Obon, so it is recommended to visit in the early morning.
