One of Japan's Three Great Waterfalls, with a Height of Approximately 97m!
Kegon Falls is a waterfall located in Nikko City, with a height of approximately 97m, and is counted as one of Japan's Three Great Waterfalls. The sight of pure water sliding down the rock wall is breathtaking, and the scenery is powerful. Especially during the autumn foliage season, the area around the waterfall is enveloped in colorful beautiful scenery, attracting many visitors. You can take an elevator (for a fee) to get closer to the waterfall basin and experience the spray of water up close. There is also an observation deck with a good view of the waterfall from the top, where you can admire its powerful appearance. Depending on the season, there is also illumination, allowing you to enjoy a fantastic night view. Access is about a 30-minute drive from Tobu Nikko Station. There are also other famous spots around Kegon Falls, such as Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Rinno-ji Temple, so it's recommended to visit them together!
