Fumonin Temple's Fumonin Pagoda has a hou-san-gen-hou-gata architectural style, with a characteristic double roof covered in traditional tiles and a raised platform. Although it was built relatively recently, it was modeled after Kyoto's Kiyomizu Temple and features a unique roof style and excellent attention to detail. Fumonin Pagoda can be seen from anywhere in town and has become a central feature of Takehara's landscape. Climbing to the top of the pagoda provides a panoramic view of Takehara town, making it an important destination for visitors. The scenery is magnificent and allows you to fully enjoy the charm of Takehara.
