Tatsu-iwa in Kyotango City is a tourist spot with a beautiful landscape of contrasting black rocks and white sandbars. One of the attractions is the monolithic rock of normal pyroxene andesite that cooled and solidified from magma that erupted from underground 15 million years ago, as well as the Tonbolo of the land-tied sandbar. You can also enjoy swimming and camping in this mysterious landscape surrounded by legends. It is not only academically valuable and interesting, but also recommended as a photography spot.
