Lake Okutama is a scenic lake located in Okutama Town, Okutama District, Tokyo. It takes about 15 minutes by bus from JR Okutama Station and about 2 hours from the city center to get there. The vast lake area, which extends for 45.4 km, is full of attractions such as the "Tokyo Waterworks Forest," which is designated as one of the "100 Selections of Water Source Forests," and the "Drum Can Bridge," which spans the lake. If you want to visit not only Lake Okutama but also the surrounding spots, it's recommended to go by rental car or private car.
