Shichimotsu-zuka is the grave of the Heike clan, located at Akama Shrine in Shimonoseki City. It was built as a memorial tower to remember the Heike clan, who perished in the Battle of Dan-no-ura, and quiet wooden tablets have been lined up since the early Edo period. There is also a monument for a haiku poem written by the poet Kyoshi Takahama, and its historical value is immeasurable. Its simple yet melancholic appearance invites visitors to a deep sense of emotion.
