Chion-in

Chion-in is the head temple of the Jodo sect, boasting a history of over 800 years. It is also known as the birthplace of the teachings of Nembutsu. Among the many structures on the grounds, the national treasure Sanmon gate is particularly impressive, with a height of 24 meters and a width of 50 meters that overwhelms those who see it.
