Chokoku-ji Temple is a Jodo Shinshu temple located near Tsukiji Station on the subway. It was built in 1617, but was rebuilt and completed in its current form in 1934. The temple has an exotic appearance, incorporating Asian Buddhist architecture, numerous animal sculptures, stained glass, and more. Despite being a temple, it also holds pipe organ concerts, and the sound of the music echoing through the solemn atmosphere is soothing to the soul. In addition, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy Shojin cuisine and famous soba noodles, as well as a cafe that serves a "breakfast of 18 dishes" that is perfect for Instagram. Near Chokoku-ji Temple, you can visit Tsukiji Market and even Kabuki-za if you're willing to walk a little further, making it a great place to spend the whole day.

There is a parking lot on the shrine grounds that can accommodate approximately 50 cars, which visitors can use for free. If the parking lot on the shrine grounds is full, there are several paid parking lots, such as Times, near Tsukiji Honganji Temple that you can use. There are also paid parking lots where you can park for a maximum of 2000 yen per day. To enter the parking lot, use the vehicle exit (south gate) along Harumi Street.
