Higashi Honganji Temple

The head temple of Jodo Shinshu, Shinshu Otani-ha. The Goeido hall enshrines the sacred image of Saint Shinran, while the Amidado hall houses the principal image of Amida Nyorai. The six buildings designated as important cultural properties, such as the Goeido hall, the Amidado hall, and the Goeido gate, are the highlights of the precincts.
